Boxted Summer 're-run' Fly-in 2009 Saturday 19th September supporting the creation of a Boxted Airfield Museum Boxted Airstrip during flyin on 5th July 2008 (Click on photo for larger image) The Annual Suffolk Coastal Strut Fly-in at Boxted was held in July, but it was badly effected by strong winds which meant only a few aircraft actually make it. As many pilots commented on their disappointment of not be able to fly in this year, we have decided to do it all again! Although there is a NOTAM covering the whole weekend, the 20th was the bad weather reserve day, and as the flyin went ahead on the 19th, with 37 aircraft attending, we will NOT be at Boxted on the 20th.
